E. Howard & Co., formed in 1858, were famous for creating high-grade marine clocks.The E. Howard & Co. was a clock and watch company, formed in 1858, by Edward Howard and Charles Rice in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The brand was formed as a joint stock corporation to succeed the defunct Boston Watch Company. The brand expanded to also include sewing machines, fire engines and precision balances.
We know that your E. Howard clock is important to you and understand that the sentimental value more often than not outweighs the monetary value. Our expert watchmakers strive to make sure your clock can be worn for many years to come.
Not only can we take preemptive measures to keep your clock running for a long time, but we can restore clocks that have seen better days. We are willing to hunt for rare parts. We have done many repairs that others have given up on. No job is too big or too small and we can do any repair on any clock. Our repairs can be as simple as a tune up, and can be as complicated as a rebuild, movement clean and overhaul and even a complete restoration.
We have a simple process for mailing your clock to us, our estimates are free. Once your clock is received and has been examined, you will receive a phone call with the diagnosis and the cost of the repair.
On your approval, you will be asked to provide a credit card number. If you do not want your clock repaired at that time your clock will be returned to you. You are responsible to provide a credit card for costs related to shipping and handling back to you.
Times Ticking began in 1983 as a retail store and repair center for watches and clocks. We have expanded over the years to more retail stores and a separate repair center that accepts clocks from all over the world. We have personalized customer service, which we are very proud of, and feel that this is what sets us apart. We have an extremely high customer satisfaction rate and also a high return customer rate.
