Accutron Watch Repair

I found Times Ticking on the internet.  The last time I had a watch repaired locally it cost more than the watch did new.  I got it back just like new 2 weeks later and 2,000 miles away.   HIGHLY recommended. Times Ticking was prompt, inexpensive, and even phoned when they got my watch and told me in advance what it would cost to repair. 

 I have had my Accutron watch for many years. It was a gift from my late wife. It stopped working many years ago. I tried several times to get it repaired. Each time I was told it could not be repaired. I was cleaning out some old records and came across the watch and was going to put it in the trash. I decided to try one more time for repair. I got in touch with Times Ticking and they told me it could be repaired. I sent it to them and it was repaired. It took several months but it was returned in working order.

I cannot speak to the local facilities or sales staff.  I am an internet customer who took a chance and sent my prized Accutron watch across the country to folks I do not know and have never met.  This was a big decision which took several weeks to discern.  I am thrilled with my decision and am planning to send my Dad’s watch in for repair. The difference? This time there is no hesitation whatsoever. 

I wanted my husband's Bulova watch repaired so I could sell it. Once we received the repaired watch, my husband fell in love with it again and decided to keep it. I had a 1964 Bulova Accutron Spaceview given to me by my godfather and that had not hummed for 20 years. I was told that you could convert this to a battery run quartz and now I'm glad I didn't do that. I tried contacting several companies that I saw online and the only one to answer my call was Times Ticking. Their representative was very knowledgeable about my watch and explained the precedure of sending the watch in and getting an estimate for repair. The watch looks fantastic and my godfather would be proud. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this company a 10! I'm getting ready to ship them my gold graduation watch for repair. 

I never believed in miracles until the day I got my watch back. I never thought I would see it working again, but they made it happen. I am extremely happy with the work they did, and I definitely appreciate all the research they did to make this small miracle happen.

Times Ticking was able to restore my late father's vintage 1972 Bulova Accutron watch that was given to him as a service award to working order that even the most experienced local jewelers would or could not attempt. The process took months because of parts availability, and they communicated with me about the progress regularly. Their customer service is fantastic. The sentimental value of this watch far exceeds its monetary value, and I am grateful that it is now a piece of our family heritage that can actually be worn and passed on to others in the future.

I inherited my father’s watch. It was literally the gold watch gifted to him on the occasion of his retirement. It is a Bulova Accutron quartz watch that commemorated the university that my father faithfully served for so many years. He always enjoyed wearing it and did so until his death. Following my father’s death my mother took to wearing it though she eventually became blind and could not see whether it worked or not and regularly wore it until her death. When I received the watch it no longer was running. Accordingly it is a special watch of value to me far beyond its individual rarity. It took about one year because its repair required the location and securing of rare parts, but the watch when it returned to me now runs flawlessly. It keeps perfect time even in comparison with my Apple Watch. I am thrilled to have this restored family treasure.

I originally purchased my Bulova Accutron model 214 Astronaut in early 1967. I wore it through Army Helicopter Flight School & on to Vietnam in 1968. Sometime in the 1980’s it stopped working so I put it away in a drawer. Last October I came across Times Ticking web site & decided to contact them. They said they would take a look at my watch & give me an estimate. This they did when I sent the watch to them. They called back with a price estimate & time to repair so I authorized it. Last week the watch was returned to me in complete repair & I must say I am completely satisfied. I would recommend their work based on my experience.
