The Legacy of Sherpa: A History of Precision, Style and Innovation

Sherpa Watches is a modern revival of the legendary Enicar Sherpa line, originally introduced in the 1950s and known for its rugged design, internal compressor cases, and mountaineering heritage. The original Enicar Sherpa gained fame after accompanying a Swiss expedition to Everest in 1956, earning its name in tribute to the resilient Sherpa people. Revived in 2021 by German engineer Martin Klocke, the brand now reissues models like the Sherpa Ultradive and OPS with updated technology while preserving vintage aesthetics.

Each watch features authentic compressor construction and the unique “Mantramatic” movement, engraved with Tibetan mantras, and part of the proceeds support communities in Nepal.
